Services

The Senior Center hosts three programs: Adult Day Care, Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative, and the Independent Seniors Program. Take a look below for further details on each program!

Clients from all three programs benefit from activities including arts and crafts, board/card games, brain exercises, guided physical exercise, educational classes on topics such as health & wellness and technology, special events, field trips, and shopping assistance trips which are scheduled every week. Meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks) and transportation are provided daily, and a licensed practical nurse is on duty daily to monitor participants’ physical condition and well-being.

EHEAP

Our Center offers the Emergency Home Energy Assistance for the Elderly Program (EHEAP) to qualifying senior citizens in the community. EHEAP assists low-income households, with at least one person age 60 and older, when the households are experiencing a home energy emergency (Department of Elder Affairs). Contact our Center for further information.
